#Steal An Egg — Documentation

#About this guide

Owner and maintainer documentation for Steal An Egg (Studio place Ukradnij jajko., place ID 114574417170451). Every number below was read from the place itself — ReplicatedStorage.SharedConfig and the services in ServerScriptService.Services — so it describes this build rather than an older design document.

#Start here

  • Setup & Configuration — read this before the first edit.
  • Stealing & Carrying and Guardians & Chases — the loop players repeat every session.
  • Growing & Hatching and Pets, Sizes & Mutations — where the reward comes from.
  • Troubleshooting — the failure shapes seen most often.

Each topic has its own page and is reachable from the sidebar.

#The core loop

  1. Travel into a biome; the world holds several nests and one sleeping guardian.
  2. Hold E on a nest prompt for one second to steal an egg.
  3. The guardian on that biome wakes and chases you across the whole biome.
  4. Reach Workspace.Spawn.SafeZone without being caught; the egg is delivered automatically.
  5. The egg grows in your base — in a slot, or anywhere in the region when free placement is on.
  6. Hatch it with E, roll size and mutation, and register the pet in the Index.
  7. Place pets in your pen: only placed pets earn cash.
  8. Spend cash on treadmills, trails, pen levels and fusion; spend Robux on boosts.

#Version notes

  • Config.VERSION is 1, Config.PROFILE_SCHEMA_VERSION is 2 and the DataStore is SAE_Profiles_v1.
  • Config.Flags.Rift is off: the Rift arena, its banners and its pets are built but not reachable in normal play.
  • Every Config.Monetization game pass and developer product still has id = 0, so MonetizationService.isConfigured() reports false and Robux purchases do nothing until those IDs are filled in.
  • Config.WikiSource records community wiki data fetched on 2026-09-12; WikiPets overrides grow times and income for the pets it lists.

Documentation reviewed against the place as opened in Studio. Re-check the module before you change a value — the tables here are a snapshot, not a live feed.
