Strength & Cutting

Damage

ReplicatedStorage.Shared.GrassPower.Get reads the player Strength stat from the configured progression stats folder.

Damage = max(1, Strength)

The minimum of 1 lets a new player with zero Strength begin cutting. A blade with remaining HP no greater than the damage is cut in one hit; stronger grass takes multiple hits.

One reward per cutting pulse

CutterService.cutBlades assigns the flat grass reward when at least one blade is destroyed — it does not sum a reward for every blade.

  • Cutting 1 or 10 blades in the same pulse awards the same base Strength.
  • Damaging grass without destroying a blade awards nothing.
  • Separate pulses can award separate rewards.

Reward formula

Cut reward = Config.Grass.Reward.FlatStrength
           × cutter Strength
           × friend Strength multiplier
           × shop multiplier
           × relic multiplier
           × index multiplier
           × aura multiplier
           × rebirth multiplier

In the inspected build FlatStrength is 1. The number of destroyed blades is not another multiplier. Essence uses its own hit-based calculation (see Loot, Crafting & Training).

Fractions and display

Fractional rewards are preserved when cutting, clicking and training. Example: for a base reward of 1, Blue Aura ×1.2 gives 1.2 Strength; five such rewards give 6.

CutterConfig.FormatStrength:

  • Displays up to two decimal places with a dot
  • Removes trailing zeros
  • Abbreviates large numbers — 18.6, +1.2, 1.2K

Display rounding does not change stored Strength.

Clicking and training

  • Clicking — uses CutterConfig.ClickBoostStrength and cutter Strength, followed by the same Strength multipliers.
  • Training — uses trainingBaseReward and also applies the training-zone multiplier.

Training is a separate reward path — changing FlatStrength alone may not flatten training rewards when ScaleWithGrass is enabled.
